MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING THE OJAI TENNIS TOURNAMENT

We encourage and appreciate attendance by any member of the media at the annual tournament in Ojai, California. All courts are open to the public during competition. There is no charge for admission at the three gated venues, Libbey Park, the Ojai Athletic Club, and the Ojai Valley Inn, for any person with valid newspaper, media or collegiate press identification. Media members can secure entry through the main gate at Libbey Park by presentation of a press credential; they will then be issued a "Media Pass" good for the duration of the Tournament at the Media Headquarters.

While attending the Tournament, all members of the media are invited to use the Media Headquarters located behind the main grandstand in Libbey Park. Work space is available on a "first-come, first-served" basis, and many news organizations set up a work station for the entire four days. The building is secured at night, and there is security in the park. The Media Headquarters has computer monitors for access to all competition results as they are posted on line at the website, and several telephone lines are available for calling or data transmission. Additionally the Media Headquarters is equipped with a wireless DSL network for faster transmission, which is available to any person whose computer will accommodate wireless communication.
