Welcome to the 2017 Ojai Tennis Tournament Website

“The Ojai” is the largest and longest running amateur tennis tournament in the United States.

Beginning on Wednesday, April 26 and running through Sunday, April 30, we will host 7 separate division (JR., CIF, Open, Community College, Independent College, DIII college and PAC-12) championships. Including singles and doubles, Men’s and Women’s, plus several team events, we will award 26 different champions.

The 2017 Championships are shaping to be our most competitive ever. Here are a just a few of the many highlights:

-Open players will be competing for $22,500 in prize money.

-For the first time ever both the PAC-12 Men and Women will be playing a team format and battling for the PAC-12 Team Championship.

-The Junior events are designated as a Tennis Recruiting Network Regional Showcase event. TRN points will be awarded accordingly.

-For the first time every JR semifinals will be held on Saturday, April 29, and finals will be held at Libbey Park on Sunday, April 30.

-California State Community College Team Championships will be held on Wednesday, April 26, with singles and doubles championships beginning on Thursday, April 27 and completing with the finals as Libbey Park on Sunday, April 30.

For players and fans alike here are some of the key dates:

CIF Boys singles and doubles players must register through the CIF Southern Section office by Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

JR. registration opens on Saturday, February 25, 2017 and closes on Sunday, April 16, 2017.

Open registration begins on Monday, February 27, 2017 and closes on Sunday, April 16, 2017.

PAC-12 Women’s and Men’s Team Finals will be held at Libbey Park on Saturday, April 29, 2017 beginning at 3:00pm.

-CIF Boy’s singles and doubles semifinals and finals will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017.

-JR semifinals will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 with the finals on Sunday, April, 30, 2017.
